Dieng Highland is located at 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) above sea level, near Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia. The name "Dieng" comes from Di Hyang which means "Abode of the Gods".

You will drive about 3 hours to this highland and visit Telaga Warna (a lake with shades of many colors), Kawah Sikidang (where you can witness sulfur vapor coming off the crater) and the Dieng Temple complex where you can enjoy the view surrounded by trees and fresh air. These three destinations take about 2 hours to explore. It is important to depart at early in the morning, so you still able to enjoy the view in Dieng Area. After 12 PM usually the mist comes and obstructs the view.
